Wedding Videographer for Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex
Your day filmed the way it actually happened, in order, with no posing and no clock watching.
Wedding films that feel like being there again
No staged moments and no chasing trends. Just real people, real emotions and a film that still makes sense in twenty years.
“We were unsure whether to book a videographer, but now I can’t imagine not having one. Paul captured every emotion and all the little moments we missed on the day. Watching the films back was like reliving the best day of our lives, the laughter, the tears, even the silly bits in between. He felt like a friend from the first call, made everyone feel comfortable, and blended in so naturally with our guests. The films are full of joy, fun and genuine emotion. We’ll cherish them forever.” Becky & Tony

Why couples book me
I’ve been filming weddings for eleven years and I’m not here to turn your day into a film set.
What I am here to do is capture everything, the calm, the chaos, the hugs, the jokes, and the beautiful bits you didn’t even notice at the time.
You’ll usually find me quietly blending in, helping where needed (yes, I’ve moved buggies during a couples entrance), and focused on making sure you and your guests feel relaxed and looked after.
My fire-service background taught me how to stay calm under pressure. My experience behind the camera means I know exactly when to step in, and when to quietly disappear. But it’s the way I treat people, from your gran to your little cousin, that couples tend to remember most.

My Approach to Storytelling
I edit chronologically, because that’s how your day actually happened.
I might start with a drone shot to show the setting, but I don’t jump around for effect or make a fake film trailer out of your wedding. Your day doesn’t start with an epic sunset (normally), so your film shouldn’t either.
I focus on the moments you’ll want to relive: the looks, the glances, the laughter, the proud smiles. I try to film every guest, especially older family members, because those memories matter most over time.
You won’t find voiceovers stuck over bridal prep or dramatic music for the sake of it. I create films that feel like you are really there again.
I film across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Sussex, travelling further when the day is worth the drive. I’ve filmed in most corners of the UK and abroad, so if your wedding is somewhere unusual, please ask.
What to expect from me on the day
I arrive during the morning prep, say hello to everyone and then largely disappear. There’s no shot list and no direction. If you’re wondering where I am, I’m usually the one holding a very small camera and not saying much.
The cameras stay set back through the ceremony and most guests forget they’re there. During photographs I work alongside your photographer rather than competing with them. When the timeline slips, which it always does a little, neither of us will make that your problem. Every speech gets proper audio, so you can actually hear the jokes back.
Every wedding is different, so if you’ve got ideas, I’m all ears. If you haven’t, that’s fine too, I’ve got you covered. The only thing I’ll ever ask you to do is wait a moment if a battery dies mid speech. Even then I’ll try to do it quietly.
Some kind reviews from previous couples
Let’s Talk About Buzzwords
You’ve probably seen a lot of the same phrases: “Documentary-style.” “Candid.” “Luxury.” “Storytelling.”
But what do they actually mean?
I won’t stage moments or create a fake narrative. I don’t cut speeches over your prep unless it actually fits your story. I don’t follow trends, I follow the truth of your day.
The result? A film that feels like your real wedding, not someone else’s highlight reel.
Not sure I’m the right fit?
Whether you’ve just started planning or you’ve already booked the band, I’m happy to chat with no pressure. Tell me your date, your venue and roughly what you’re picturing.
If it helps, I’ve broken the whole thing into four steps so you can see exactly how booking works before you commit to anything.
And if I’m honestly not the right fit for what you want, I’ll say so and point you towards someone who is.

Where I film across the South East
Most of my work sits in three counties, and each has its own page listing the venues I know and what filming at them is actually like.
Surrey covers Horsley Towers, Farnham Castle, Botley’s Mansion, Foxhills, Wotton House and the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst.
Hampshire covers The Tithe Barn, Norton Park, Sandford Springs, Elmers Court, the Royal Southern Yacht Club and the Spinnaker Tower.
West Sussex covers Long Furlong Barn, Grittenham Barn and Goodwood House.
I go further when the day is worth the drive. The Old Kent Barn near Dover is licensed indoors and out, so you can decide on the morning. Hedingham Castle in Essex has a Norman keep around nine hundred years old and splits a day across three completely different spaces.
Newer additions to that list are Elmers Court in Lymington, now THE NICI New Forest, which puts the Solent behind your outdoor ceremony, New Place Hotel at Shirrell Heath with its Jacobean panelling and thirty two acres, plus Highley Manor at Balcombe, which goes out on exclusive use so there is never a second wedding in the building.
If you would rather see the work than read about venues, there is a wedding video portfolio, and my style and approach page explains how I actually work on the day.
