The art of wedding videography is unparalleled, capturing every gesture, smile, and tear during your significant day. A wedding film serves as a living testament to the most enchanting day of your life, preserving not only the moments of joy but also the poignant and humorous instances. It enables you to capture nuances that a mere photograph may overlook. A drone video provides a breathtaking aerial perspective, seamlessly blending footage from various cameras to create a mesmerising wedding film.

Top 5 Reasons To Hire A Wedding Videographer
- Capturing memories: A wedding videographer will capture the sights and sounds of your special day, creating a lasting memory that you can watch and relive for years to come.
- Storytelling: A good videographer will tell the story of your wedding day through their footage, capturing the emotions, moments, and details that make your day unique.
- Professionalism: Hiring a professional videographer ensures that your wedding video will be produced to a high standard, with excellent quality footage, lighting and sound.
- Flexibility: A wedding videographer can work with you to create a video that reflects your personal style and preferences, whether you want a traditional, documentary or cinematic style.
- It’s a different perspective: A videographer will capture the day from a different perspective than still photography, and can provide different angles and movements that will give you a different memory of your day.
The Benefits of Hiring a Wedding Videographer
Photographs give you the day in stills. A film gives it back with the sound turned on, which is a very different thing to sit down to ten years later. The moments couples tell me they had completely forgotten are almost always the small ones in between the parts that were planned.
West Sussex is the third of the counties I work in regularly and it holds the widest range of days. Goodwood House at one end, Long Furlong Barn and Grittenham Barn at the other. A barn wedding and a house wedding ask different things of a videographer, mostly around light and sound.

Get to Know Paul, Your Hampshire Based Wedding Videographer!
I came to film after years of photographing weddings, which taught me where to put myself and when to stay still. The second half of that is the more useful one. Packages start at £1,547 and every one covers the full day rather than a set number of hours.
Barns are honest about their acoustics, which is to say they are difficult. Long Furlong and Grittenham both reward getting microphones into the right places early rather than hoping for the best. Goodwood has the opposite problem, a great deal of space and light that shifts through the afternoon.

Wedding Videography Services
Up to five cameras run through the ceremony and the speeches, because those are the parts with only one take in them. Every speech gets its own audio feed. You will have a teaser film within seven days and the full set afterwards, delivered digitally.
Everything is cut in the order the day happened. No jumping about for effect and no trailer-style opening on a sunset you did not have. If you want the ceremony and each speech as their own films alongside the highlights, that is covered by the Cinematic Plus package.

West Sussex wedding venues I film at
West Sussex is a smaller list for me than Surrey or Hampshire, but these four I know well.
Long Furlong Barn outside Worthing is a 16th century barn with big windows down one side, so on most days I can film the ceremony without bringing much lighting in. Danni and Chris were married there.
Grittenham Barn near Tillington takes one wedding a weekend. Nobody is clearing up behind you and nobody is setting up around you, and it shows on the film.
Goodwood House near Chichester is a proper stately home with downland and long views towards the South Downs for the couple portraits.
Highley Manor at Balcombe near Haywards Heath goes out on exclusive use, so there is no second wedding in the building. Three licensed rooms, a grand staircase with stained glass and eighteen bedrooms in the manor. Annabel and Jack were married there.
I also cover Surrey and Hampshire, and I travel further when it is worth it.
Brookfield Barn south of Horsham is exclusive use on a lake, a hundred and thirty eight seated and two hundred in the evening. I have filmed there twice, for Ashleigh and Joe and for Rosie and Alex.
Cissbury Barns at Findon sits under Cissbury Ring, with the East Barn licensed indoors and the Glade for ceremonies outside. Elaine and Daniel were married there.
