Summary

Goodwood is a proper stately home and its scale is the first thing I have to think about. 180 for the ceremony, up to 225 in the evening, in rooms that were built to hold a great deal more than that. It is very easy to come away with a film that is all architecture and no people. I work hard not to do that.

The Ballroom is the room everybody comes for and it earns the attention. High ceilings, art on the walls, and light that changes completely depending on the hour. If your ceremony is in there, tell me when, because the room at two o clock and the room at five are not the same room.

The estate around the house gives me options that most venues simply cannot. Downland, parkland, and long views towards the South Downs. When we slip away from your guests for twenty minutes there is somewhere genuinely worth walking to.

Introduction

Accommodation is at the Goodwood Hotel rather than the house itself, so there is a short transfer in the morning. It is not a problem, it just wants factoring into the timings. Tell me where you are getting ready and I will build the schedule around it.

The Setting

No posing, no forced smiles, no interruptions. In a house this size that discipline matters more, not less, because the temptation is to start directing people around beautiful rooms. I film what actually happens instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m based in Surrey, but will definitely travel if needed. I enjoy being able to explore new locations and love to do destination weddings. I am well-known for my videography throughout London, Kent, Essex, and other areas of the UK.

I do not limit myself on hours. I will often stay 11 hours or more to ensure I have all the footage I need to tell your wedding story. My day will begin just before you start preparing for the wedding. I will continue to film throughout the day until approximately 30 minutes after you have the first dance. Arrangements can be made if I need to stay a bit longer.

I record the preparation, the ceremony, the speeches, the first dance, and any other event you would like.

I maintain a fairly tight schedule and limit the number of weddings I accept. A flexible schedule allows me to devote the time I need to my existing clients. 28 days is the soonest you will receive them. 90 days is the longest you may have to wait. Teaser videos are often ready in just a few days.

Yes! I will work with your photographer so that we both have the positioning we need to provide you with quality photographs and videos.
