Telling your story without interrupting it
I want to make sure that I capture your special day the way you remember it, so I won’t be putting any extra pressure on you with posing or awkward smiles. It’s all about capturing those little moments of genuine happiness as they naturally occur throughout your wedding day story.
If there are posed shots set up by your photographer, I’ll be sure to use those as opportunities to document the moment. But overall, my goal is to tell your wedding day story in a way that truly reflects all the love and joy you experienced on your special day.
Where I’ll be all day
I film with small cameras and I stay out of the way. Across a full day I’ll be at the back of the ceremony, in the corner during the speeches and somewhere near the dance floor by the evening. You’ll see me. You just won’t be waiting on me.
Twenty four years in the fire service taught me to stay calm when a plan changes, which turns out to be the most useful thing I bring to a wedding. Timelines slip, weather turns, someone loses a buttonhole. None of that becomes your problem.
So enjoy your day. Keeping track of it is my job, not yours.

Working with your photographer
I work seamlessly with your photographer to make sure all of the important moments are captured and all of the unexpected, beautiful ones too. I’ll be ready with my camera when you two share a private moment before walking down the aisle or tearing up during your parent’s speeches.
It’s not just about capturing those special memories, it’s also about making sure you get the most out of your photographer. I’ll be there to help them create those stunning, creative shots that will make for awesome videos to look back on in years to come.
And don’t worry if things are running a little behind schedule, I’m a pro at navigating tricky timelines like these and making sure that nothing important is missed out.
At the end of the day, it’s my job to make sure your photographer has everything they need to get those stunning photos and videos you’ll treasure forever. I’ve got your back!

The small things
The details are the part nobody thinks to ask for. The suit you spent months choosing, the flowers your mum arranged, the ring going on slightly wrong and being pushed home. I film all of it, because in ten years those are the moments that surprise you most when you watch it back.
Unposed and mostly unnoticed
None of these were arranged. I was stood somewhere sensible with the right lens on and the day did the rest.
Portraits, without the awkward bit
When your photographer takes you off for portraits, I come along. It takes about fifteen minutes, you go for a walk together and I film from a distance while you talk to each other rather than to a camera.
I use off camera lighting where it helps, which means the results still hold up when the light goes at five o’clock in November.
You won’t be asked to hold a pose or gaze into the middle distance. If that’s what you were hoping for, I’m probably not your videographer.
