Norton Park gives you two very different rooms in one place. There is a 17th century Hampshire barn, all timber and age, and there is the Manor House, which is a far more polished sort of elegant. Filming somewhere with that much contrast is a gift. The morning, the ceremony and the evening can each end up looking like their own thing.

It also scales further than most venues around here. 120 for the ceremony, 240 seated, up to 300 in the evening. If you are planning a large wedding and you have been struggling to find anywhere in Hampshire that does not feel cramped by nine o clock, this is the one I would go and look at.

The Manor House sleeps 26, which usually means the wedding party stays on site. For me that means the morning happens in one building rather than two, and I am not losing forty minutes of your day to a drive between them.

It sits in rolling Hampshire countryside near Sutton Scotney, just outside Winchester. Quiet, open, and straightforward to reach.

Introduction

No posing, no forced smiles, no interruptions. I film what actually happens and I stay out of the way while I do it. If your photographer sets something up I will use it, but I am not going to stop your day to make a shot happen.

The Setting
